Winmau
Winmau is originally a British producer of dartboards and dart equipment, and it has been the primary sponsor of the Winmau World Masters, the oldest darts competition in the United Kingdom, from its inception.
Winmau was established in 1945 by H.A. Kicks, who used his demobilization compensation to start a business manufacturing wooden dartboards.
Much later, Nodor's patent on sisal dartboards lapsed, and Winmau took advantage of the situation by beginning to manufacture both paper dartboards and sisal dartboards.
In 2002, Winmau was acquired by Nodor, a competitor of Winmau.
The Winmau dartboard is now manufactured entirely in Kenya, rather than in England anymore, as previously reported.
Kenya is currently home to the production of the whole Winmau dart line, which includes the entire assortment.
The Winmau Blade 6 is a dart board that is commonly used by dart clubs, clubs, and national dart federations around the world. The Winmau Blade 6 Triple Core dartboard is now available in a larger size as well as a smaller size.
For a long time, Winmau has been the primary sponsor of the BDO (British Darts Organization) tournaments. They are also responsible for providing the official dartboard for the "The Lakeside World Championship,” formerly known as the “Embassy” tournament.
